Pilgrimage: To the Origins of Data Science (1)
Earlier this July, we headed to Lincoln, Lincolnshire, in the North East of England, for the first part of our data science pilgrimage. Lincoln, Lincolnshire is a charming and medieval mid-sized town, not far from the Eastern coast of England, and that was once home to young George Boole, the fantastic mathematician and logician, father of boolean logic and grand-father of computing.
